Our students do extraordinary things because a community of people shows up behind them. Parent and family volunteers help turn concerts, trips, celebrations, and everyday choir life into something exceptional.
We Need Our People
There is a place for you here.
You do not need a music degree, unlimited free time, or a special skill set to make a difference. Sometimes we need people for an hour. Sometimes we need a team for an event. What matters most is having adults who are willing to step in when the program needs them.

Before You Volunteer
Three simple steps.
Garland ISD requires prospective campus volunteers to complete the district volunteer application process before serving on campus.
REQUIRED
Complete the GISD application.
Submit the district volunteer application and complete the required screening process.

Wait for district clearance.
Volunteer approval is handled through Garland ISD. Please allow time for the district to process your application before an event.

Volunteer needs change throughout the year. These are some of the ways families may be able to support the program.
Concert & Event Support
Help with arrival, hospitality, audience flow, setup, cleanup, and the details that make events feel polished.
Travel & Chaperoning
Support students during approved trips, performances, competitions, and other off-campus experiences.
Hospitality
Help us take care of students, clinicians, guests, and families during special choir events.
