Mentor Program
Every Choir. One Team.
Every Sachse Choir student is placed in a small mentor group led by a member of our Student Leadership Team — a smaller community inside our larger choir family.
The Sachse Choir Mentor Program is designed to make a large choir program feel personal. Every student is placed in a small mentor group led by a member of our Student Leadership Team. These groups create connections across ensembles and grade levels, give students a consistent person to check in with, and help us make sure every singer feels known, supported, and part of the Sachse Choir family.
Why Mentor Groups?
With hundreds of students spread across multiple ensembles, it would be easy for someone to quietly disappear into the crowd. We don't want that.
Mentor groups give every singer a smaller community within Sachse Choir. Throughout the year, mentors check in with their teams, celebrate successes, help answer questions, encourage involvement, and notice when someone may need a little extra connection.
It isn't about adding another meeting or obligation. It's about creating relationships.
