Booster Club

I’m a child of God, wife, mother to three beautiful gifts from the Lord—and they are my hobbies and reasons for everything I do! Supporting the Sachse High School Choir program is one of my greatest passions. These amazing young men and women pour their hearts into developing their musical gifts, and it is an honor to serve them. Watching their dedication, growth, and love for music shine through every performance brings me immeasurable joy. I am grateful to be part of a program that not only nurtures talent, but builds character, community, and lifelong confidence.

I am honored to serve on the Sachse Choir Booster Club Board another year. Music and the performing arts have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. In the 1990s, I toured internationally for a decade as a professional singer, dancer, and drummer, later leading my own band for 18 years. Today, I pour that experience into the next generation as a vocal and drum instructor. For the past 25 years, I have also worked as a full-time wedding and portrait photographer. I proudly serve as the official photographer and run social media for the Sachse Choir program, Mane Attraction, and Spur of the Moment, capturing and promoting the talent and dedication of these incredible students.

Choir is deeply personal to my family. My oldest daughter Reagan, Sachse High School Class of 2020, was in Mane Attraction, and my youngest daughter Tuesday is currently a junior in Mane Attraction; both have been in choir programs since fourth grade. Having grown up in choir myself and spent my entire career in the entertainment industry, I have a passion for watching students grow in confidence, musicianship, and stage presence. Many of these students lovingly call me “Mom,” and I take great pride in supporting them not only as performers, but as young people finding their voice in this world. Looking forward to another incredible year of music!

Hi! My name is Carole Brooks and I am the proud mom of three great kids—Hunter (a Sachse grad), Charlotte (12th grade), and Greyson (8th grade)—who keep my husband, James, and me busy. I am honored to serve on the Sachse Choir board again this year. I’ve loved singing since I was a 5-year-old girl making up songs in my backyard. These days I prefer to be more behind the scenes, but I do love that my daughter, Charlotte, loves to sing and perform like I did at her age. I’m extremely thankful for the family Charlotte has found in the Sachse choir program. What a great group of kids! I love watching all of the performances and cheering our kids on as they shine on stage. Excited for Charlotte’s last year in this amazing program!

I am happy to support our choir students with the choir boosters. I enjoy crocheting, crafting and reading when time allows. I am excited for all of the opportunities the students have here in the Sachse Choir program.

Hi! My name is Angela Conlon, and I am the Hospitality Chair on the Choir Booster Club Board this year. Music has been such an integral part of my life. I’ve sung in worship ministries, ensembles, and choirs for as long as I can remember. I even met my husband, Ryan, in an a cappella group at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. So, watching that same passion for singing take root in my daughter, Kaelyn, has been so special. She’s a junior this year, heading into her 3rd year in both the choir program and Mane Attraction. What I love most about Sachse Choir is the community our directors have built for these talented and dedicated teens. I can’t wait for another year of supporting Mane in their ICHSA competition season, and I’m grateful for a program that gives our kids a place to grow and shine!

I have a wonderful husband, Mark, and two beautiful daughters, Lily (11th grade) and Elise (7th grade), who keep our family busy with all of their activities! Both of my girls share a love of music and choir—Lily is involved in choir leadership at SHS, and Elise is a member Hudson’s A Cappella choir. I have been with my company for about 20 years, and when I find a little free time, I enjoy reading and listening to live music. I love supporting the choir program because I’ve had the opportunity to see firsthand the incredible impact music can have on students. Beyond developing their talents as performers, choir gives students a place to build confidence, develop leadership skills, form lasting friendships, challenge themselves, and create memories they’ll carry with them long after their school years are over. I’m grateful for the opportunity to support these amazing students and to play a small part in helping make their choir experience something truly special.
